I think we can all agree that Bob Kendrigan had a lot of ‘creative’ ideas in his youth. Listen to him while he tells you about the time he kidnapped Stu Belden:

Frank Barone b. 1934 discusses his early experiences watching Boston Braves baseball. Listen to him, in his own words:

In the early 60’s Sonja and her nursing friends used to head north on weekends and go skiing. She was a member of a new young generation with leisure time, good jobs and extra money to spend as they pleased. Hear more about her adventures here:

In the 1940’s and 1950’s, when Hanover’s Sylvester School was the town’s high school, the students didn’t go out for recess. They went to the auditorium and they danced. They all did it. It was just part of their school day. And they liked it.
Rosemarie Mesheau, Doris Mathews and Bob Kendrigan tell us about it here:

I’m fascinated by this little piece of history. Back in the day, Hanover was home to the National Fireworks Company. During war time, the factory was the biggest employer around, operation around the clock, making munitions for the war effort. National Fireworks had factories in Ohio and down the eastern seaboard, including two in Hanover and a foundry in Whitman.
Both Robert and Doris tell stories of family members working in the factory:

Before Sonja was born, her parents made the tough decision to emigrate to the USA. Her dad left his wife and two children behind in Norway and came to America through Ellis Island to establish a business and make a home for his family.
Sonja and her family were fortunate to maintain a close relationship with relatives back in Norway and they visited quite often. Hear the story from Sonja herself:

I’m not even going to introduce this one. I’ll just let Bob tell it.

Robert was the school prankster. No doubt about it. And he had a few loyal friends that were always by his side to help him out. Despite his pranks, he had a good relationship with his high school teachers. Listen here:
