When Doris was a young child, her parents divorced and she and her siblings were sent to live in an orphanage. I am in awe of the strong, kind, loving woman that Doris has grown up to become after such a traumatic and challenging start. Hear her story:

My father-in-law was a milkman his whole life. He worked for years at Hood Dairy, then later helped out at Hornstra Farms in Hingham. Margaret also comes from a family of dairy farmers. Listen to her story here:

Margaret Murphy b. 1935 contracted polio in 1946. While those around her were left lame or even dead, she asked herself “why was I spared?” and reflects on the importance of making contributions in the life that she has gone on to lead.
